Comments
Nambam 2 - copper habaki, cast silver pommel & handle throat ring with spiny lobster menuki and bahia grass seed embroidery, nickel silver guard with diagonal file pattern, display stand instead of sheath = "The Star Blade"

As a Nambam II blade with a sabot system, there are lots of parts. The blade itself was the center "plank" cut from a 12" long x 1.5" diameter bar of twisted nickel/1095 steel - hence the presence of the "stars" from which the blade gets it's name

This is just a more detailed picture of the handle.

The customer requested a display stand instead of a sheath -- the stand base is teak with stainless steel supports.
